I want to know with others system timing adjustment are they have a number under from 0 like shown on PW they have -1000 or so ? YN also has a timing adjustment start from 0 - 2.0 I was thought at least it could be approach the normal sync output Yes typically but as i have tested on 7dmarkii i think it way over then 2.5 stop ( This is what make me had a question ) Over Drive Sync from Phottix yes they also great method that i have read that was also took by Ellinchrome el skyport and they call it HiSync ( forgot the link ) Usually with Canon bodies, under Supersync, the gradient is darker at the top of the image (landscape). Typically with both HSS & Supersync you notice a significant efficiency drop just on enacting that change from normal sync - the loss usually climbs further as the SS rises further. I suggest trying again with timing adjustments on your 7DII. I don't have experience of Yn timing adjustment, but Phottix ODS timing changes definitely show up in varying flash energy captured.īody to body latency differences are to be expected. AFAIK even PW don't claim less than 2 stops loss compared to normal with Hypersync. IMO, never 'normal' - there can be a fractional improvement over pulsing HSS, at the expense of introducing gradient.

Īlso we could adjust the delay time so we could get a normal energy from the flash much better than HSS provide not really 'pulsed' - if by that we mean repeated output peaks. The "4sync" : with these method the flash starting pulse before first curtain opens What made the two body gave a different result and why? Just check them out i also made a caption on each Top left: 7DmarkII Normal sync this would provide a normal power output Week by week getting more frustated, and i just remember that i still kept my old dusty Canon EOS 30D, then i set them up, and big surprise the power wasn't lose that much it almost no different with normal sync

The yn622cTX SuperSYnc and HSS provide a same energy there is no different between both method its totally lose much power, i have also set the delay timing but still got no luck ( tested on 7DmarkII and GODOX AD360 )

So i was thought HSS not really has an advantage for what i need, that's why i was bought YN622cTX and yn622c transceiver as well to get a constant full power output when using SuperSync method that yongnuo claimed The "4sync" : with these method the flash starting pulse before first curtain opens also we could adjust the delay time so we could get a normal energy from the flash much better than HSS provide This made the function flash no longer as a speedlight instead as a regular continues light, so that's why when using HSS we lose much power output event we set on full power HSS make the flash begin pulsing when the first curtain opens till the second curtain closes, they burst the light. So HSS and the other 4Sync has a different methods

HiSync claimed by Ellicncrhome ElSkyport also there's a rumor that El took a license from Phottix Odin So far i know that the other four words ( NOTE: i would call them as the "4Sync" ) I have read for 2 month or so about the HSS and HyperSync, HiSync, SuperSync, PowerSync
